Psychology & Psychotherapy Services
ACTN Provides Individual and Family Psychology services for individuals who are seeking:
Consultation with the family team including ABA team, OT, SLP, school support staff, physicians, psychiatrists etc.
Care coordination support including reports and consultations with team
Disability tax credit application support
Transition to adulthood support
All psychology services are provided by a doctoral level psychologist who is registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. Psychology may be covered under the Ontario Autism Program's (OAP) Core Clinical Services, as well as many private insurance policies. Psychological services can be conducted on a 1:1 basis, or through an interdisciplinary approach in collaboration with our ABA team. Psychological services include assessment, consultation as well as therapy.
ACTN Provides Individual and Family Psychotherapy/Counselling services for individuals who are seeking:
Mental health support using Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and/or Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) approaches
Family or individual counselling through a trauma-informed approach
All counselling services are conducted by a Psychotherapy registered in Ontario under the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Psychotherapy is covered under many private insurance policies. Psychotherapy services can be conducted on a 1:1 basis, or through an interdisciplinary approach in collaboration with our ABA team. Parent/caregiver/support staff involvement is an integral part of therapy.
