Our center based group ABA programs offer opportunities to learn and practice skills with peers alike.

Group Programs are offered at the following:

Mississauga Location: #1-6620 Kitimat Road, Mississauga, ON

Hamilton Location: 420 Crerar Drive, Hamilton, ON (Located inside the Hamilton Italian Center)

All group ABA programs are supervised by a Registered Behaviour Analyst in Ontario (RBA). Group ABA programs may be eligible under the Core Clinical Services stream in the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) funding.

Group programs run weekly in 3 blocks from September 2026-June 2027.

2. Set Up Your Jane Profile You will be invited to create a profile in Jane, our secure online client portal. This profile allows you to complete forms, manage sessions, receive messages, and access important information about your services.

3. Complete the Group Interest Form Fill out our group interest form with information about the services you are looking for. The more detail you provide, the better we can understand your goals and match you with the most appropriate program.

4. Connect With Our Clinical Team Once we receive your completed form, a member of our clinical team will review your information and contact you to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and recommend the group program that best fits your goals.

Group Structure

• Small group ratios are available, including 3:2 and 3:1, based on participant needs.

• All programming is designed and supervised by a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) Ont/Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• During the first week of the program, participants will complete a brief assessment to develop individualized and group goals.

Registration

Participants must register for a full 12 week session block.

• Block 1: October – December 2026

• Block 2: January – March 2027

• Block 3: April – June 2027

Recommended Prerequisites

The following criteria are recommended when determining the most appropriate group ratio. If your child does not meet all of these recommendations, we will work with you to determine the group that best supports their needs.

Participants should:

• Demonstrates no behaviours that present a safety concern across settings (including, but not limited to, aggression toward self or others, property destruction, elopement, or mouthing of objects).

• Exhibit low rates of disruptive behaviour (e.g., refusing activities or making verbal threats) and not require individualized behaviour support for these behaviours.

• Require minimal assistance with personal hygiene routines (e.g., going to the washroom).

• Eats and drink independently.

• Remains with a teacher and group of peers with minimal reminders.

• Follow transition directions with verbal prompts only.

Commitment

• A minimum commitment of one session block (i.e. 12 weeks) is required.

• Participants are encouraged to enroll in all three blocks (2026–2027 program year) to promote consistency, skill development, and maintenance.

• Priority registration is available for families who register for multiple blocks in advance.

• Due to group ratios and staffing requirements, payments are non-refundable, and make-up sessions are not available for missed classes.

• Groups will run based on sufficient enrollment.

  –   ABA Group Therapy:  Youth on the Go (Ages 14-18)
   
      – Mississauga/Community: Thursdays, 5:30 – 7:00 pm (12 weeks, $1,080)

  – Psychotherapy/Art Group Therapy: Artful Connections (Ages 9-14)
   
      – Mississauga: Saturdays, 12:00 – 12:45 pm (12 weeks, $1,500)

  – Music Therapy: Music Club  (Ages 6-12)
   
      – Hamilton: Fridays, 3:30 – 5:00 pm (12 weeks, $1,200 + HST)

  – Psychotherapy Group: PEERS Program  (Ages 9-12 & 14-18)
